New Orleans' The Happy Talk Band is happy to announce the release of it's third record,
Starve A Fever, on Piety Street's Label - PFAM.

Recorded at Piety Street Studios last fall with Mark Bingham.
The shifting cast of characters that have made up The Happy Talk Band in the past has solidified into a unit that nola.com described as "tighter, more skilled, and more... frightening".

Morning 40s Federation imports Bailey Smith (guitar), Steve Calandra (bass) and Michael Andrepont (Drums) join Alex McMurray and Casey McAllister (Myrtles, Kristin Diable), in crafting the sounds that carry Luke Spurr Allen's often grim, sometimes hopeful tales of life from the perspective of his corner of New Orleans' Bywater neighborhood.
